  • In a gentle way you can shake the world.

At Unite for Nepal we believe anything can be achieved through generosity of spirit, actions based on the imaginings of the mind and a commitment from a compassionate heart. Our aim is to ensure that our donors generous contributions go directly to community initiatives and as such, everyone involved with Unite for Nepal works as a volunteer and covers any expenses incurred from their involvement personally.

  • Jacqs Leui’i

Jacqs established Unite for Nepal in response to community members from the Dudhakunda District approaching her to support a newly established Outreach Health Clinic in the area. As a long time visitor and supporter of Nepal, she saw this as an opportunity to support those in rural and marginalised areas motivated to create change from within their communities but unable to access the resources required to do so.

    Laxman Karki

Laxman is the chairperson of City Village Foundation (Nepal) and is from the Dudhakunda District village of Nazing Barane. He is the essential link to all of our community initiatives, working hard on the ground to ensure that we are supporting the most effective projects and monitoring their sustainability and impact.

    Libby Chandler

Libby has been visiting Nepal for over 20 years and shares her passion for the country and its people worldwide. She has proudly supported Unite for Nepal from its earliest inception working on promotion and fundraising.

  • Creating positive and sustainable impact can only be achieved when people work together towards common goals and commit long term to support the shared belief that every life matters. The success of Unite for Nepal has been possible because of the support we have received from relationships and partnerships with other incredible organisations and individuals. We would like to acknowledge and thank:

  • Belinda Kirk, Dr Sara Parker, Dave Cornthwaite, Nick Kershaw, Lesley Pimm, Bayo Hassan Bello, Bala Kaji, Jhalak Karki, the communities of Dudhakunda District -9, and all of our generous donors and supporters, without whom none of this would be possible
